Wow, what an achievement, at Schlam Engineering we are well on our way to refurbishing our 100th bucket.
It has been a busy time in regards to bucket refurbishments throughout all our manufacturing facilities. Our skills and expertise are being put to the test.
Our Waroona workshop has been powering along with 3 bucket overhauls underway and nearing completion.
The team has just completed a full overhaul of a RH120 bucket for our client in the South. It was a great job by the team in Waroona who worked quickly and efficiently to also replace the sidewall and line bore the bucket which has been completed and returned to our client.
The same client also requested a full refurbishment of an EX2600 bucket which requires partial replacement to the floor due to cracking and wear throughout areas.
Along with these Schlam Engineering in Waroona is currently nearing completion of a full refurbishment and new lip installation for a 996 bucket for our client in the coal industry.
Meanwhile, in the Pilbara our team has proved nothing is beyond them by overhauling an EX3600 bucket for our local client. The repairs on this bucket were quite complicated so the client contacted Schlam to complete the job.
By doing in house 3D scanning we were able to identify the areas requiring significant work including, structural repairs, sidewall replacement, line boring and developing and installing a new liner package. No job is too hard for our teams.
The Pilbara team is also overhauling a 996 Excavator bucket and has recently completed a 996 Clam and Backboard Shovel bucket for a local client.
Schlam is also taking advantage of our DT HiLoad manufacturing facility in Forrestfield with a number of small buckets coming in for various repairs such as an EX875 on which we are replacing the adapter, repairing the torque tube and line boring.
At the other extreme, size is of no significance as we prepare to commence fabrication of an RH400 Clam.
Winning jobs of this size allows Schlam to show off the skills and expertise that we are capable of and positions us in a very exciting place for future work with our clients.
