Schlam Engineering now offers offsite repair services from their DT HiLoad facility in Forrestfield, WA.

The Dundas Road establishment has been home to DT HiLoad’s manufacturing and maintenance capabilities since 2003 and now hosts a combined service offering for both businesses.

The great size and capabilities that are already available from Dundas Road will enable Schlam to bring greater offering to our clients.

The total area is 12,000m2 with 4800m2 of covered workshop and 60tonne overhead cranes.

Our state of the art workshop, incorporating 2 plasma cutting table’s capable of cutting 80mm material and a CNC roller machine, one of the largest in the Southern hemisphere, is purpose built for steel fabrication and manufacturing.

The CNC plasma cutting tables are used to cut steel and other metals with the precision and accuracy that is capable of producing clean sharp edges for the most basic design to the most intricate.

The CNC, 150HP, four roll, rolling machine can be used for one off or repetitive rolling tasks.

The new facility will be a one stop shop for all manufacturing and maintenance needs and with the large size of the workshop will be able to comfortably facilitate both businesses.

Schlam Group Managing Director, Ryan Schlam, said by utilising the Dundas Road facility the group will be able to cohesively deliver a variety of services for our customers from one location.

“The benefits of the technology on site will also enable us to deliver cost effective manufacturing and fabrication services,” he said.

“From a location perspective, the facility is ideal for transportation to site with easy access to major highways”.
